Resources ... Leaders to inspire and amaze you.

In this day and age, sometimes it seems that role models are hard to find.  Here's a quick quiz to test your definition of leaders and identification of role models:

          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders.
          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders that are not in government.
          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders, that are not in sports or entertainment.
          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders, that are women.
          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders, that are of color.
          - Name 5 people you consider to be leaders, that have disabilities.

Studies show that most people name white males in government positions initially.  They follow these with sports figures or people in the entertainment industry.  It typically takes people awhile to begin naming women, people of color, or other non-traditional "leaders."  

Who are your role models?  Who are those people you look up to, learn from, respect, and admire?  Have you considered learning from people that fall outside your "normal" definition of leaders?  Have you recognized the leaders around you, that you can learn from every day - in big and small ways?

Consider these people ... ordinary people doing extraordinary things and making a difference!
